Dexter Fowler leaves Cardinals' game with shoulder issue

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dexter Fowler left Thursday's game versus the Milwaukee Brewers early with a right shoulder strain.

What It Means:

Fowler joins fellow outfielder Stephen Piscotty in the trainer's room as they both had an early night. Aledmys Diaz shifted to left field with Randall Grichuck moving to center and Greg Garcia coming in to play shortstop in Fowler's absence. Fowler ends his night 1-for-2 with a two-run triple and a strikeout.

Fowler is batting .223/.302/.408 with four home runs, nine RBI's and 17 runs scored in 116 plate appearances this season.
