Nationals consider Bryce Harper day-to-day with groin tightness
Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper exited Thursday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks with groin tightness.
Harper sustained the injury while diving for a ball in the outfield and was replaced in the top of the seventh by Chris Heisey. The Nationals call the injury minor, saying they lifted Harper for precautionary reasons. He is considered day-to-day.
Harper is crushing the ball, posting a .376 batting average with 9 home runs, 27 RBI's and 35 runs scored in 127 plate appearances.
