Twins' Byron Buxton passes concussion tests
Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton was pulled from Thursday's game versus the Oakland Athletics early after crashing into the outfield wall trying to make a catch.
Buxton was pulled in the sixth inning after multiple run-ins with the wall, but the Twins are saying it was for precautionary reasons. The young outfielder reportedly passed a concussion test and will be re-evaluated on Friday. Consider Buxton day-to-day.
Buxton went 0-for-2 with a strikeout on Thursday, lowering his batting average to .152 with 32 strikeouts in 88 plate appearances.
