Corey Kluber (back) lands on Indians' 10-day disabled list
Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Corey Kluber was placed on the 10-day disabled list with lower back discomfort.
Kluber will miss at least one turn in Cleveland's rotation after leaving early Tuesday night with renewed tightness in his back. His ERA ballooned to 5.06 on the year after yielding five earned runs in three innings against the Detroit Tigers.
Kluber has started the season with a 3.64 SIERA, 26.0 percent strikeout rate and 1.37 WHIP through six starts (37 1/3 innings pitched).
