Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Steve Pearce was a perfect 4-for-4 from the dish on Tuesday, going deep twice in an 11-5 loss at the hands of the New York Yankees.
Those were the first two home runs of the year for Pearce, who has struggled so far in his first full season with the Jays, slashing only .224/.262/.345 with a .265 wOBA through 61 plate appearances.
numberFire's models project Pearce to pick things up a bit and hit .272 while notching another 10 home runs, scoring 31 runs and driving in 34 RBI's over 281 plate appearances for the remainder of the season.
