Colby Rasmus (hip) activated from Rays' disabled list
The Tampa Bay Rays have activated outfielder Colby Rasmus (hip) from the 10-day disabled list.
Rasmus has been sidelined all season with a hip injury and had his rehab delayed due to an illness. He is not in the lineup Tuesday but is available to pinch-hit off the bench as he is ready to make his Rays' debut. Rasmus will platoon with Peter Bourjos in left field the rest of the season.
numberFire's models project Rasmus to hit .224 with 12 home runs, 43 RBI's and 38 runs scored in 370 plate appearances the rest of the season.
