Giants hope Brandon Crawford (groin) returns on Friday
San Francisco Giants Brandon Crawford (groin) is hoping to be activated from the disabled list when first eligible on Friday.
Crawford was shifted from the bereavement list to the disabled list over the weekend, but the injury is not considered serious. Friday is the first day Crawford would be eligible to return. Eduardo Nunez has been filling in at shortstop since.
Crawford is batting .263/.284/.434 with two home runs, eight RBI's and 10 runs scored in 81 plate appearances this season.
