Cleveland giving Jason Kipnis the night off on Monday
The Cleveland Indians are giving second baseman Jason Kipnis Monday night off as they face the Detroit Tigers.
What It Means:
Kipnis has played in nine consecutive games since being activated from the disabled list and is getting a routine day off. Michael Martinez is filling in at second and batting ninth versus Daniel Norris and the Tigers.
