Evan Longoria getting the night off for Tampa Bay
Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria is not in the lineup Monday versus the Miami Marlins.
What It Means:
Longoria has been in a slump recently with just three hits in his last 29 at-bats. The third baseman will be getting his first day off all season; hopefully, it does him some good. Daniel Robertson is manning the hot corner and batting eighth on Monday.
Longoria is batting .208/.296/.376 with 4 home runs, 13 RBI's and 11 runs scored in a league-high 115 plate appearances this season.
