Aaron Sanchez (finger) lands on Blue Jays' disabled list
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a split nail on his right middle finger.
This will be Sanchez's second disabled list stint of the season for his finger after he lasted just one inning on Sunday. It's not thought to be a long-term issue.
Sanchez has a 4.05 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 18.2 strikeout rate across 13 1/3 innings pitched this season. He's 0-1 through three starts.
