Cincinnati Reds catcher Devin Mesoraco is in the lineup and batting seventh versus the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday.
Mesoraco has not started a game in over a year and played in just 39 games since 2014 due to hip and shoulder injuries. The 28-year-old is expected to split catching duties with Tucker Barnhart as the Reds ease Mesoraco back into game shape.
numberFire's models project Mesoraco for 11 home runs, 36 RBI's and a .232 batting average in 320 plate appearances the rest of the year.
