Cleveland Indians pitcher Corey Kluber allowed three runs over seven innings, notching a season-high 10 strikeouts in a 4-3 win over the Houston Astros on Thursday.
Kluber allowed three runs over the first three innings, but he turned things around and was stellar over the remainder of the start, scoring his third consecutive win and bringing him to 3-1 on the year.
Kluber has posted a 4.19 ERA, 3.52 SIERA, 26.2 percent strikeout rate and 1.25 WHIP through his first five starts and 34 1/3 innings of 2017.
