Yankees to send Gary Sanchez on a rehab assingment next week
New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez (biceps) will begin a rehab assignment next week.
Sanchez is moving along faster in his recovery from a biceps strain quicker than expected. He is already taking swings in the batting cage and throwing up to 120 feet and will see game action early next week. The catcher has been out since April 8 but could be back after missing just four weeks.
numberFire's models project over the rest of the season for Sanchez to hit 24 home runs with 70 RBI's and a .264 batting average in 488 plate appearances.
