Didi Gregorius expected to be activated by the Yankees on Friday

New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi expects shortstop Didi Gregorius (shoulder) to be activated from the disabled list on Friday.

What It Means:

Gregorius is coming off a five-game rehab assignment with High-A Tampa and looks ready to go after missing a month with the shoulder strain. With Gregorius back at shortstop, Ronald Torreyes will return to the bench for New York.

numberFire's models project Gregorius to bat .267 with 16 home runs, 68 RBI's and 70 runs scored in 591 plate appearances the rest of the season.
