Mets' sending Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) for MRI
New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes (hamstring) will go for an MRI on his pulled left hamstring on Friday.
Cespedes pulled his hamstring running the bases on Thursday. It is the same muscle that the outfielder was experiencing soreness in last weekend, forcing him to miss three games. No matter the result of the MRI, expect Cespedes to go on the disabled list with Michael Conforto and Juan Lagares seeing more time in the lineup.
Through 75 plate appearances this year, Cespedes has 6 home runs, 10 RBI's and 12 runs scored to go along with a .270 batting average and a .415 wOBA.
