Carlos Beltran not in Astros' lineup on Thrusday
Houston Astros outfielder/designated hitter Carlos Beltran is not in the lineup Thursday versus Corey Kluber and the Cleveland Indians.
What It Means:
The Astros will also be without George Springer and Jose Altuve against the former Cy Young Award winner Kluber. While the other two Astros are dealing with injuries, it appears Beltran is getting a routine day of rest. Brian McCann will serve as the designated hitter and bat fifth for Houston on Thursday.
The 40-year-old Beltran is off to a so-so start to 2017 with two home runs, seven RBI's, six runs scored and a .614 OPS in 82 plate appearances.
