Dodgers' Rich Hill (blister) may return as a relief pitcher

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Rich Hill (blister) make take on a relief role upon his return to the Dodgers' roster, per manager Dave Roberts.

What It Means:

Roberts mentioned the same thing last week after Hill threw a bullpen session, and it's looking like that's the likeliest path for the 37-year-old. He's been struggling with blister issues for a couple of years now.

Hill has only made two starts this year, but he's coming off of a 2016 season that saw him post an excellent 2.12 ERA with a 3.29 SIERA and 29.4 percent strikeout rate.
