Cincinnati activates Devin Mesoraco from the disabled list
Cincinnati Reds catcher Devin Mesoraco has been activated from the 10-day disabled list.
Mesoraco landed on the DL with hip and shoulder injuries, but he's finished his minor league rehab assignment and will re-join the Reds. The 28-year-old backstop will likely be eased into the lineup as a backup making occasional spot starts.
numberFire's models project Mesoraco for a .232 batting average with 11 home runs, 36 RBI's and 25 runs scored in 320 plate appearances the rest of the season.
