Mets scratch Noah Syndergaard (biceps) on Thursday

The New York Mets have scratched pitcher Noah Syndergaard from Thursday's start against the Atlanta Braves due to biceps tendinitis.

What It Means:

Syndergaard was already bumped back from Wednesday's start as Robert Gsellman drew the nod after his last game was postponed, and today it will be Matt Harvey taking the mound in place of Syndergaard.

Syndergaard has been terrific through four starts this season, sporting a 2.01 SIERA and 29.1 percent strikeout rate, while he has yet to record a walk.
