Eric Thames exits Brewers' contest with hamstring tightness
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Eric Thames left Wednesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds with left hamstring tightness.
Brewers manager Craig Counsell said the injury is "not a big deal," so it doesn't sound like he'll miss more than a game or two if that. He went 1-for-3 with a single and two walks prior to being replaced by Jesus Aguiler at first base to open the eighth inning.
Thames entered Wednesday leading the majors in home runs (11), runs scored (25), wins above replacement (1.9), ISO (.557), slugging percentage (.929) and wOBA (.569).
