Ben Zobrist getting Wednesday off as Cubs go for sweep in Pittsburgh
Chicago Cubs utility man Ben Zobrist is out of the lineup for Wednesday night's series finale against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
What It Means:
The Cubs will start Jason Heyward in right field and Jon Jay in center while Javier Baez mans second in a matchup against right-hander Tyler Glasnow and the Pirates.
Zobrist, who turns 36 next month, is slashing .200/.324/.333 with a .299 wOBA across 71 plate appearances this season while hitting two home runs and eight RBI's.
