Toronto has Aaron Sanchez (finger) throw a bullpen session
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez (finger) threw a 30-pitch bullpen session Tuesday without issue.
Sanchez threw 30 pitches and used his whole arsenal without any limitations on Tuesday. The young right-hander has been out since April 18 after needing surgery to remove part of his fingernail. It appears Sanchez is nearing a return to the big league rotation soon.
numberFire's algorithms project Sanchez for 13 wins, a 3.46 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 143 strikeouts in 171 2/3 innings pitched the rest of the year.
