Justin Smoak out of the Blue Jays' lineup on Tuesday
Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Justin Smoak is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the St. Louis Cardinals.
With the Blue Jays playing in St. Louis, they will not have a designated hitter (DH) available to them. Toronto's typical DH Kendrys Morales will play at first and give Smoak his first night off in eight games. He will be available to pinch hit on Tuesday, though.
Smoak is batting .271/.317/.525 with three home runs, nine RBI's and five runs scored in 63 plate appearances this season.
