Russell Martin playing third base Tuesday for Toronto
The Toronto Blue Jays are starting catcher Russell Martin at third base as they face the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday.
Martin has not played third since 2013 but will apparently man the hot corner for Toronto on Tuesday. The Jays have been struggling to find a decent third baseman since Josh Donaldson went down with a calf injury on April 14 and are now resorting to Martin.
Martin is batting just .180 with two home runs and two RBI's but leads the Blue Jays with a .339 on-base percentage through 62 plate appearances.
