Twins' Miguel Sano hit with one-game suspension, will appeal

Minnesota Twins infielder Miguel Sano has been suspended by Major League Baseball one game for his involvement in an altercation during Saturday's game versus the Detroit Tigers.

What It Means:

Sano will remain in the starting lineup until his appeal is heard. He's starting at the hot corner and hitting third for Minnesota on Monday against left-hander Martin Perez and the Texas Rangers.

Sano owns a .241/.413/.569 slash and .414 wOBA this season while yielding four home runs and 14 RBI's across 75 plate appearances.
