Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Travis Shaw is not in the lineup for a home matchup with the Cincinnati Reds on Monday.
Shaw has played the last seven games with only one night off all year, so the Brewers are giving the 27-year-old a well-deserved rest. Hernan Perez will play at third and bat sixth versus the Reds and Amir Garrett on Monday.
Shaw has gotten off to a hot start as he ranks third in the National League with 18 RBI's. He also has five home runs and 10 runs scored in 80 plate appearances so far.
