Orioles' Zach Britton (forearm) throws for first time since MRi

Baltimore Orioles reliever Zach Britton (forearm) played catch from 90 feet and threw some pitches off flat ground on Monday.

What It Means:

This was Britton's first time throwing since last Friday when his MRI results ruled out any structural damage in his injured forearm. Brad Brach will continue filling in at closer for the Orioles until Britton is able to return.

Britton owns a 1.29 ERA, 1.86 WHIP and 18.6 strikeout percentage with five saves in 7 innings (six appearances) pitched this season.
