White Sox get a strong outing from Derek Holland on Sunday

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Derek Holland picked up his second victory of the season on Sunday, limiting the Cleveland Indians to just one run on three hits over six strong innings.

What It Means:

Holland's lone mistake came in the fourth as he gave up a solo home run to Francisco Lindor. He also walked three batters as he struck out six for his fourth nice outing of the year. The veteran will look to take advantage of a short-handed Detroit Tigers offense on Saturday.

Holland owns a 2-2 record with a 1.99 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and 19 strikeouts in 22 2/3 innings pitched this season.
