Red Sox hold out Dustin Pedroia (knee) again on Sunday
Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee) remained out of the starting lineup Sunday.
Pedroia got spiked in the leg on Friday and has now spent the last two games on the sidelines. Boston has an off-day on Monday, so there seems to be a chance that Pedroia makes his return on Tuesday. Marco Hernandez is starting at second again on Sunday and batting ninth against Kevin Gausman.
numberFire's models project Hernandez for 0.95 hits over 3.9 plate appearances with a 41.0 percent chance of scoring a run and a 28.0 percent chance of driving in a RBI on Sunday.
