Toronto Blue Jays right fielder Jose Bautista's first homer of the year was a three-run shot in the top of the 13th, propelling the team over the Los Angeles Angels 8-7 on Friday.
Bautista was in an 0-for-19 slump before collecting an infield single in the ninth inning tonight. He had just one RBI all year before the homer, which also gave him his first multiple-hit game of the season. It's something to build on, hopefully.
We project Bautista to rack up a .259 batting average, 30 home runs, 75 runs, and 90 RBI's over 528 more plate appearances this year.
