Jason Kipnis activated from Indians' disabled list
Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis will make his season debut Friday night after being taken off the 10-day disabled list.
Kipnis will start at second base and hit sixth against left-hander Jose Quintana and the Chicago White Sox on Friday in his first appearance of the season. He'll likely be moved up to the second spot in the order once he gets a few games under his belt. Jose Ramirez will move back over to the hot corner for Cleveland.
numberFire's metrics project Kipnis to record a .274 batting average this season while tallying 13 home runs, 68 RBI's and 14 stolen bases across 602 plate appearances.
