David Price's (elbow) rehab for Boston has been slowed by arm soreness

Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell acknowledged Thursday that starting pitcher David Price (elbow) has been experiencing some soreness around his troublesome left elbow.

What It Means:

The Red Sox slowed down Price's rehab earlier this week without explanation, but now we know. While we wouldn't call it a setback for the star pitcher, it will be at least three-to-four more weeks before Price will pitch in the big leagues. He is still a high-ceiling stash candidate in all fantasy leagues with a disabled list spot.

numberFire's models project Price to win 11 games with a 3.43 ERA and 168 strikeouts in 167 2/3 innings pitched the rest of the year.
