Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez left Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers with a bruised right hand.
Gonzalez appeared to be in significant pain when he was hit by a Clayton Kershaw fastball, but X-ray results have fortunately come back negative. Still, it wouldn't be surprising if the Rockies let him rest for a day or two. They don't have any games scheduled Thursday.
Across 60 plate appearances this season, Gonzalez owns a weak .175/.200/.298 slash with just one dinger and two RBI's.
