Baltimore's Zach Britton (forearm) scheduled for Friday MRI
Baltimore Orioles reliever Zach Britton (forearm) will undergo a precautionary MRI on Friday.
Britton said on Tuesday that his left forearm strain was already beginning to feel better, so hopefully Friday's MRI brings positive news. He's first eligible to return from the disabled list on April 25. In the meantime, Brad Bach and Darren O'Day are expected to share closing duties for Baltimore.
Britton owns a 1.29 ERA, 1.86 WHIP and 18.6 strikeout percentage with five saves in seven innings pitched this season.
