Dodgers' Logan Forsythe diagnosed with right toe contusion

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Logan Forsythe has been diagnosed with a right toe contusion.

What It Means:

Forsythe should be considered day-to-day after taking a pitch off his foot in the bottom of the first inning Tuesday. X-rays were inconclusive. If he's forced to miss time, either Chase Utley or Enrique Hernandez will likely take over at second.

Forsythe is slashing .295/.407/.341 across 54 plate appearances (14 games) this season.
