Nationals confirm Joe Ross will make season debut Wednesday
Washington Nationals pitcher Joe Ross has officially been named the starter for Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Braves.
Expectations have now been confirmed after Ross twirled seven innings of one-run ball with strikeouts in his last appearance for Triple-A Syracuse. He's on the radar in standard mixed fantasy leagues.
The 23-year-old right-hander recorded a 3.43 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 20.8 strikeout percentage across 105 innings (19 starts) last season for Washington.
