New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez (biceps) expects to resume throwing on Wednesday.
Sanchez continues working his way back from a Grade 1 strain behind his right biceps. He's expected to be back on the Yankees' active roster within the next month. Austin Romine will continue serving as the primary backstop with Kyle Higashioka behind him.
Romine is slashing .333/.423/.571 across 26 plate appearances this season with one home run and four RBI's this season.
