Buster Posey (concussion) returns to Giants' lineup on Tuesday
The San Francisco Giants activated catcher Buster Posey from the seven-day concussion disabled list and are playing him at designated hitter versus the Kansas City Royals.
What It Means:
Posey missed exactly seven days as the Giants played it safe and put their star on the concussion list. It appears they will be easing him back into the lineup, playing him at designated hitter on Tuesday. Nick Hundley will continue to play at catcher while Posey gets back up to speed.
Posey was off to a good start, batting .333/.481/.571 with one home run, two RBI's and four runs scored in 27 plate appearances this season.
