Brewers' Eric Thames homers in fifth consecutive game
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Eric Thames went deep for a fifth consecutive game Monday in a 6-3 victory over the Chicago Cubs.
After spending the past three years playing in the Korea Baseball Organization, Thames has been easily one of the best signings of the offseason so far. Not only that, he's performing better at the plate than just about anyone in the majors.
Thames is pacing the bigs in OPS (1.479), slugging percentage (1.000), ISO (.595) and home runs (7) across 48 plate appearances to start the year.
