Oakland places Kendall Graveman on disabled list with shoulder strain
The Oakland Athletics placed starting pitcher Kendall Graveman on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to April 15, with a right shoulder strain.
Graveman was pulled from his start on Friday after only 74 pitches due to inability to get loose. All reports have the injury as minor with the A's Opening Day pitcher missing only one start. He is eligible to return from the disabled list on April 25.
Graveman has thrown 18 innings so far with a 2.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 4.76 FIP with 12 strikeouts and a 2-0 record in three starts.
