Astros without Carlos Correa (hand) on Monday
Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (hand) is not in the lineup Monday against the Los Angeles Angels.
Correa was also ruled out for Sunday's contest before it was called due to rain. He's dealing with some discomfort in his hand after being plunked by a pitch on Saturday, but Correa should be back within the next couple of days. Marwin Gonzalez is starting at third base for the Astros on Monday and Alex Bregman will cover shortstop. Evan Gattis is also making another start at catcher for Brian McCann.
Correa has struggled a bit at the dish this season, slashing .234/.315/.298 with one home run across 54 plate appearances (12 games).
