Todd Frazier (illness) sitting again as White Sox open series with Yankees
Chicago White Sox infielder Todd Frazier (illness) is out of the starting lineup again Monday against the Yankees.
This will be a second consecutive absence for Frazier and his fourth in the past five games due to flu-like symptoms. He went 0-for-4 on Friday in that one lone outing. Matt Davidson will draw another start at third base and hit sixth against Yankees rookie southpaw Jordan Montgomery.
For his career against lefties, Frazier is slashing just .270/.357/.405 with a .135 ISO across 42 plate appearances. That's compared to a .279/.342/.603 slash and .324 ISO versus right-handers (76 plate appearances).
