Blue Jays' J.A. Happ will receive MRI for elbow
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher J.A. Happ is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his left elbow on Monday.
Happ was forced to leave during the fifth inning of Sunday's start against the Baltimore Orioles due to soreness in his pitching elbow. He was charged with one run while giving up four hits and striking out three.
Through three starts (16 innings) this season, Happ owns a decent 4.50 ERA, but his much more impressive 2.13 xFIP is on pace for a career high.
