Dodgers' Rich Hill leaves Sunday's game with blister issue

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Rich Hill made an early exit from Sunday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks with a recurrence of his blister issue.

What It Means:

Blister issues have been haunting Hill since the 2016 season -- when they forced him to miss a month of action -- and he had just been activated off of the 10-day disabled list to make Sunday's start. It looks likely that he will land back on the disabled list after this one.

While numberFire's models don't yet account for any time Hill may miss with this newest issue, they project him for a 3.35 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 142 innings pitched over the remainder of the season.
