Miguel Cabrera (back) forced out of Sunday's game early for Detroit
Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera (back) was forced to make an early exit from Sunday's meeting with the Cleveland Indians.
Cabrera appeared to hurt his back running the bases in the top of the eighth inning. He was replaced by JaCoby Jones, and we can expect an update on Cabrera's status soon.
Cabrera has opened the season hitting .220/.347/.390 with a .323 wOBA through 49 plate appearances.
