Nationals' Daniel Murphy delivers walk-off winner Friday
Washington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy delivered a walk-off RBI double in the 10th inning on Friday, propelling the Nationals to a 3-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.
Bryce Harper led off the 10th with a base hit and Murphy immediately came through, driving him in with the winning hit. He finished 2-for-5 on the day with the one RBI.
Murphy is off to a blazing hot start to the season as he is batting .444/.457/.711 with two home runs, 10 RBI's, and seven runs scored in 46 plate appearances this season.
