Tigers' J.D. Martinez (foot) will see live pitching Wednesday
Detroit Tigers outfielder J.D. Martinez is scheduled to face live pitching Wednesday in Lakeland, Florida for the first time since suffering a Lisfranc sprain in his right foot.
Martinez is currently on track to make his season debut sometime in early May as he continues to work his way through the various stages of rehab.
numberFire's models project Martinez to hit .283 in 573 plate appearances this season, also pegging him for 28 home runs, 81 runs scored and 90 RBI's.
