Cleveland's Carlos Carrasco shuts down the White Sox Tuesday

Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco held the Chicago White Sox to one run over seven innings Tuesday.

What It Means:

Carrasco stymied the Sox, allowing just four hits and one walk while striking out seven. Despite the dominant performance, he was left with a no-decision as the Tribe could only muster one run until Michael Brantley's walk-off RBI double in the 10th inning. Carrasco will next take the mound against the Detroit Tigers.

Carrasco owns a 2.13 ERA with a 0.71 WHIP and 14 strikeouts in 12 2/3 innings pitched this season.
