Hanley Ramirez (flu) still unavailable for Red Sox
Boston Red Sox designated hitter Hanley Ramirez (flu) remains out of the lineup Monday against the Detroit Tigers.
The flu going through Boston's clubhouse has kept Ramirez out of action since Wednesday. Pablo Sandoval will play designated hitter on Monday while Brock Holt mans the hot corner against right-hander Justin Verlander and the Tigers for the four-game series finale.
Holt has gone 1-for-8 (.200) this season with three walks and strikeouts apiece, as well as one run scored and another batted in.
