Ervin Santana tosses six shutout innings for Twins
Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Ervin Santana worked six shutout innings Sunday in the Twins' 4-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox.
Santana followed up his seven innings one-run performance on Opening Day with a perhaps even better start on Sunday. He allowed just two hits and two walks while striking out four in six innings. Santana owns a 2-0 record with 0.69 ERA and 0.62 WHIP through 13 innings pitched so far.
Our models project Santana for a 4.07 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 149 punchouts in 185 2/3 innings pitched the rest of the season.
